Set the whole web on fire- Madame Web review

Madame Web is another stain on Sony’s sorry excuse of a Spiderman universe without

Spiderman. Madame Web is a very interesting character to do a movie on there’s no doubt.

about that. A woman in the spider-verse who can see the past and present to shape a better

future. How can you mess that up? Hold my Beer!

Who the hell is Madame Web?

Madame Web, also known as Cassandra Webb, is a prominent character in the Marvel Comics

universe, particularly associated with Spider-Man. Created by writer Denny O'Neil and artist

John Romita Jr., Madame Web made her first appearance in 1980. Often depicted as an elderly

blind woman with psychic abilities, Madame Web serves as a mentor or guide to Spider-Man,

offering him advice and assistance in his battles against villains. Gifted with clairvoyance and

precognition, she possesses a deep understanding of the web of fate and destiny, providing

invaluable insights into the challenges that Peter Parker faces as both a superhero and an

individual. Madame Web's enigmatic presence adds an element of mystique to Spider-Man's

adventures, as she navigates the threads of fate to help him fulfill his heroic destiny. Over the

years, she has played various roles in Spider-Man's life, sometimes acting as a mentor or ally,

and other times as a guardian of cosmic secrets, solidifying her status as a pivotal figure in the

Spider-Verse.

They tried to rework the character to give her a younger look. The problem is they didn't care to

understand her comic origins to begin with. Dakota Johnson and the rest of the cast are as

disinterested in acting in the film as I am watching it. Her performance reminds me of one of

those animals on The Flintstones that would look into the camera and say” It is a living”

This was a dream sequence. teasing a movie that will never come.

The movie also made some horrible choices in the editing room. There they had to dub over a

lot of dialogue to the point it's quite hilarious. It reminds me of A Shaw Bros film. The writing

sucks, It was written by the same people behind Morbius. That was a catastrophe in its own

right. Why do they give second chances to folks who have not earned them The direction of the

film should have scrubbed their name from this one. What pisses me off more than this movie is

the fact that Sony has another Spiderverse film coming out this year Kraven The Hunter. Im so

glad Stan Lee is not around to witness these poorly produced films from Sony. Save face, sell

the rest of the rights to Disney, and walk away before it's too late.

Madame Web Final grade: F Avoid this movie at all costs Go see the Bob Marley movie
