When I was growing up I was a huge fan of Sonic the Hedgehog. I’ve played them all. My personal favorite was the Sonic 3 Sonic & Knuckles Combo. It gave you the greatest Sonic experience ever plus knuckles that you could make HYPER KNUCKLES & HYPER SONIC even tails had a weird super version where magical birds protected him , it was odd but still cool. Then Sonic landed on the dreamcast it was awesome. Even met a few new characters.
and one that should have never happened. 
After this point things got weird, Sonic Riders: a Hover board racing game. Then this happened

a SHADOW game where he has a gun plus multiple endings? 
We thought things couldn’t get any worse. Until 2006 
it was at this moment I was done. I gave up on Sonic. There were more lackluster and half ass games. There was one where a night sonic turned into a “Were-hog”
the sad part was the daytime missions were actually good but an overall failure. But when I started hearing about Sonic Mania there two big things that came up. Once upon a time there was a website call newgrounds.com
(IT’S STILL AROUND CHECK IT OUT) on this site there was a Sonic flash game. It’s amazing honestly if you can go to their site and try it. But anyway one of the makers of that game is also behind Sonic Mania. After playing for a few hours all I can say is You will not be disappointed.

You get to play as one of these three dudes in some. Re imagined levels, references to other characters and long forgotten games too. 
There's also some difficulty in these stages. A few of them actually had me stuck and I need a friend to come over and play as Tails. Best Co-op when your partner is invincible. Also Tails is still able to carry you places. 
Also these Bonus stages have returned. Time to go Super Saiyan I mean Super Sonic. The replay value is super high. (ATTENTION PC GAMERS !!!! THE PC VERSION COMES WITH DENUVO!!! I REPEAT DENUVO!!!!!!)
